What is Super Sudoku?
Super Sudoku is a free Sudoku game for Android by Elixir Infotech. It has four difficulty levels, a Daily Challenge, a Monthly League with a Top 100, nine themes, statistics, achievements and streaks. It is available in English and 10 other languages, with Arabic added in version 1.0.23.
How do I download the game?
Get it free on Google Play: search for "Super Sudoku: Classic Puzzle" or use the Download button on this site. The app is for Android; there is no iPhone version.
What difficulty levels are available?
Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Easy has plenty of clues for beginners; Expert has minimal clues. Daily Challenge puzzles are Easy, Medium or Hard, depending on the day.
What is the Daily Challenge?
One new puzzle every day, the same for every player. You get a score and a 1–5 star rating for it, and it counts toward your day streak and the Monthly League. Starting it needs an internet connection so the result can count.
How does the Monthly League work?
Each completed Daily Challenge earns a Daily Score. Your Monthly Score is your 20 best Daily Scores plus 30 points for every day you played, so one bad day never lowers it. Everyone who plays the Daily Challenge that month is ranked, and the Top 100 is visible in the app. A new league starts on the 1st of every month.
How are player rankings calculated?
Highest Monthly Score first. If two players have the same score, the one who reached it earlier ranks higher. Scores are calculated on our server from your time, mistakes and hints, and the app cannot send its own score.
What do the monthly rewards give me?
Ad-free time in the app: 30 days for #1, 14 days for #2–3, 7 days for #4–10, 3 days for #11–25 and 1 day for #26–100. Everyone else gets a monthly badge. Rewards are claimed in the app after the month ends; there are no cash or physical prizes.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Regular Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert puzzles work without an internet connection. The Daily Challenge and the Monthly League need a connection.
How do themes work?
Open Themes in the app, tap a theme to preview it, then apply it. There are nine themes; the default Super Sudoku theme follows your phone's light or dark mode. In the latest version, applying a new theme asks you to watch a short video first (no video while you have league ad-free time).
Will I lose my league score if I reinstall the app?
From version 1.0.23, your Monthly League progress is tied to your Google Play Games account: sign in to Play Games on the new install and your score, rank and rewards come back. Statistics and settings stored only on the phone are not restored.
Is Super Sudoku free? Are there ads?
The game is free and supported by ads. Some extras — a bonus hint, a new theme, the Top 100 list — are unlocked by a short video that you choose to watch. League ad-free rewards switch ads off for their duration.
Can I play on this website?
Yes, there is a free browser version on the Play Online page with all four difficulty levels. The Daily Challenge, Monthly League, themes and achievements are in the Android app only.
